Why are there no Subaru cars racing in Indy or Daytona?
From what I've come to understand, you won't spot Subaru cars racing in Indy or Daytona due to a few reasons. Firstly, Subaru primarily focuses on rally racing, where their cars' unique features like all-wheel drive systems really shine. Secondly, the type of engines used in Subaru cars, called 'boxer' engines, don't meet the specific requirements for these races. Finally, the costs of developing a car specifically for Indy or Daytona racing, without a guarantee of success, is a risk Subaru currently chooses not to take.
